Senior Highs on Sunday Night On Sunday nights from 7-9pm we meet at the Youth House behind the church for a night filled with fun.You're welcome to show up a little early to meet up with friends to play ping-pong, Carpet Ball, PacMan, Dance Dance Revolution, and Guitar Hero.After a short time to catch up and hang out we'll play a bunch of games with the whole group before finishing the night with a discussion that's entirely relevant to our faith today.About once a month on Sunday nights we head out to play Laser Tag, Whirlyball, Go-Karting, Mini-Golf or some other awesome activity. Every Wednesday we get together for dinner at 6:00pm in fellowship hall, followed by a relevant Bible Study from 6:45-7:30pm.We spend our time discussing how to live our faith at school, with our friends, on our sport teams, and with our families.Many of our studies are DVD curriculum designed specifically for teens.Every so often we'll extend the time for Bible study for a series based on a current hit TV show.We've already done studies on Smallville and Eli Stone. Each fall we go away for a weekend Fall Retreat.We play a lot of games, tackle High and Low Ropes Courses, roast 'mallows over a campfire, play glow in the dark capture the flag, sing some songs, and have devotions around the campfire.Every winter we head up to SpringHill for a weekend to meet up with 600 youth from all over Michigan.The week is full of activities you can do: paintball, swimming, broomball, a skate park, basketball, game tables, horseback riding, a tubing hill and a ton more.The coolest thing about SpringHill is their awesome programs full of drama, stage games, video, a great speaker, and an awesome band to lead worship. As soon as school gets out for the summer we head off for a week with Group Workcamps.We spend the week with 400 teens from around the country to rebuild a bunch of homes in the city.It's an awesome time to grow together as a group and meet a whole bunch of new people.Time and time again, Mission Trip proves to be an amazing week guaranteed to bring you closer to God. Northbrook runs its own Summer Church Camp in August each year.Camp if for children and youth in 1st-12th grades.Our Senior Highs come as Junior Counselors who each get to be in charge of a cabin of younger kids.The week is full of a Live Clue Game, Game Show Night, Mock Rock, Water Regatta, and a ton more.We have tons of craft activities, sports, and games to keep the week packed full of fun.Camp is awesome opportunity to become a leader, while having a great time and growing closer to God.
