Presbyterian Women
Presbyterian Women (PW) is the national women's organization of the Presbyterian Church (USA). With a history of more than 200 years, PW is committed to nurturing faith, supporting the church's mission, working for justice and building community. The Presbyterian Women of Northbrook (PWN) is an organization that focuses on outreach to the community and world through a variety of mission projects such as:
• Presbyterian Women Ingathering • Christmas Bag Project • Mitten Tree • Mission Sewing
Fellowship and program activities include:
* Monthly visits to the residents of Presbyterian Village * Tuesday Morning Circle - a Bible study, prayer and fellowship group * Luncheons with guest speakers and entertainment * The annual Retirement Home Brunch where nearly 200 residents from area nursing and retirement homes come to Northbrook for a day of fun, food and entertainment.
